What does the name Cap Cana mean?
The name of this small community comes from the French word “Cap”, which means “cape”, since we’re talking about an enclave that is part of a chain of capes known as “La Majagua”, located between Cabo San Rafael and Cabo Engaño. The other word, “Cana”, refers to the type of palm tree we find in Cap Cana, which coincides with the name of Punta Cana.
But Cap Cana isn’t only known for the meaning of its name, but also for having the largest marina in the entire Caribbean, which is an exclusive luxury area that you’ll love.
